Pi Day celebrated on Scratch

The High School students at Academy Schools have written programs for their own custom “Happy Pi Day” animated eCards (complete with sound, etc.).  These are done in the ‘Scratch’ online programming tool and can be viewed by anyone who’s invited.

Dr. Zimmerman created a ‘studio’ on the Scratch website that holds all the programming animated eCards the students developed.  Try out the link below and let us know if you can play them. . . and if you like them.

Some of the students will be doing more complex visual programs over the next month as part of the computer science game-development project.  All of them will be posted in this studio –at this link:
