Grades: Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade

Class Size: Maximum class size is 10 students per teacher

Hours:
Pre-K day is 8:30 am to 12:00 pm
Kindergarten – High School full day is 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
After School Childcare, Clubs & other activities happen from 3:30 – 6:00 pm

Dress Code: All students wear uniforms. The colors are navy or khaki pants; red, white or navy collared shirts; red sweatshirts. Middle and high school students may also wear hunter green shirts. Clothing with the School logo (optional) may be purchased through Lands End. Click on the link to Lands End.

Testing: Student achievement is assessed in many ways. Academy Schools utilizes a variety of assessment tools, including the WRAT – Wide Range Achievement Test – which measures a student’s ability to read words, comprehend sentences, spell, and compute solutions to math problems. Academy Schools’ student results average 1.6 to 2.4 years above grade level (includes all students regardless of their learning differences).

Cultural Diversity: Academy Schools has a rich religious and culturally diverse population. With students from Turkey, Pakistan, India, China, Greece, Korea, Western Europe, Japan, Viet Nam, Africa and Native American heritages, to name a few, all thrive at our school.

Anti-Bullying Policy: Academy Schools will not tolerate or allow bullying and teasing. All instances are dealt with immediately. Our school is a safe, supportive community where all persons – faculty, staff, students, parents and friends – are valued and respected by one another.
